Good workshops & classes fill up weeks ahead and the great ones go first. Below: the 11 to book early, what each includes and how they differ.
At Fragonard Èze, an English-speaking guide introduces French perfume making, leads you through the factory, and helps you blend a 12ml Eau de Toilette around the Flower of the Year. Expect a scenic village setting, hands-on scent work, and a boutique visit afterward.

At Maison Molinard in Nice, a French or English-speaking perfumer guides you through 40 essences, from first scent tests to a balanced top, heart, and base note. You leave with a 30ml Eau de Parfum, your own formula, and a practical introduction to perfume making.

At Molinard’s boutique in central Nice, you’ll smell 90 essences, learn how perfume is built, and blend a 50ml scent with expert help. Guides including Leya and Irina have led sessions in French and English. Take home your bottle, diploma, and formula for future reorders.

At Molinard’s Nice boutique, Florence or another expert instructor guides you through perfume basics and helps you blend top, middle, and base notes from 90 scents. In about one hour, you fill a 50 ml eau de parfum bottle, receive a diploma, and keep the formula for future orders.

At Rebecca and Laurent’s home above Nice, you’ll prepare simple French Mediterranean dishes such as pissaladière, fresh pasta, and lemon tiramisu. The 6:30 pm class lasts about three hours, includes a three-course meal and non-alcoholic drinks, and offers sea views, garden produce, and plenty of local conversation.

Spend two hours with VinoLove Club tasting eight French wines from across the country. Guides such as Julia, Carlo, and Juliette explain regions, grapes, production, and tasting methods in English, with cheese and snacks served alongside the wines.

At Parfum et Vous in central Nice, Caroline, Sasha, Catalina, or another member of the perfume team guides you through fragrance history, scent theory, and the art of blending. You will test different notes, create a 30 ml Eau de Parfum, and leave with a personal souvenir.

At Parfum et Vous in central Nice, Caroline or Sasha guides you through perfume history, local flowers, essential oils, and scent layers. You then blend your own fragrance, take home a personalised 30 ml bottle, and keep the formula for future reorders. Workshops run in English or French.

At Maison Molinard in central Nice, a perfume expert guides you through 40 essences before you blend your own 30 ml Eau de Parfum. The 45-minute English workshop includes a mini museum, a numbered diploma, and a formula you can reorder later. Arrive on time, as late arrival can cancel the session.

At Molinard’s Nice workshop, children ages 4 to 8 work with a fragrance expert in French or English to identify scents, blend a personal perfume, and decorate its 30ml bottle. The 30-minute session is limited to four participants, with one accompanying person per child.

Visit Fragonard’s modern laboratory in Eze for a 30-minute guided tour, then join a 15-minute Flower of the Year workshop. With a guide such as Dominik, you learn how cosmetics and perfume are made, then blend your own 12 ml Eau de Toilette in a small group of up to 15.
“Booked this activity as something my partner wanted to do. I have no interest in parfums but it was a good experience. I learned a bit about parfums and it was a cool little workshop. It was worth it, and then you can explore Eze while in the area.”
